W dniach 24-26 września 2009 w Krakowie odbył się III Środkowo Europejski Kongres Osteoporozy i Osteoartrozy. Kongres był organizowany pod auspicjami International Osteoporosis Foundation. Kongres był największym wydarzeniem naukowym w tej dziedzinie w Europie Środkowej, uczestniczyło w nim 750 lekarzy w tym 80 z zagranicy. W ciągu 3 dni obrad zaprezentowano 55 wykładów oraz 70 plakatów. Wykłady były symultanicznie tłumaczone na język angielski i polski. III Central European Congress on Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis was held on 24-26 September 2009 in Krakow. It was organized under the auspices of the International Osteoporosis Foundation. The Congress was the biggest scientific event in this field in Central Europe, attended by 750 doctors, including 80 from abroad. 55 lectures and 70 posters were presented during 3 days of discussions.
